St. John’s Community Centre (SJCC)

St. John’s Community Centre (SJCC) serves as the development arm of the Anglican Church of Kenya under the Diocese of Nairobi. Founded in 1957 by the Church Missionary Society.

SJCC has played a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for community members around its mother base in Pumwani, other Nairobi informal settlements, and the adjacent counties that are part of the Nairobi Metropolitan.

The organization specifically focuses on addressing the needs of Vulnerable Children, women, and youth. SJCC is currently implementing its projects in seven counties: Kitui, Makueni, Kajiado, Machakos, Muranga, Nakuru, and Nairobi.
